Burn This (2020)
“People aren’t human. You ever notice that?” Pale, BURN THIS, Lanford Wilson
"Yes, Pale all the time. Pale is chaotic energy incarnate. It’s easy for me to access that energy. What’s been more of a challenge is understanding the soft underbelly of the character. What’s he afraid of? What does he regret? Pale is a lot more than he appears to be at first glance. He’s a walking contradiction. He’s just as comfortable around a tea box as he is kicking someone’s ass into a bloody pulp at a dive bar. He’s just as familiar with the workings of a car as he is of the concertos of Vivaldi and Puccini. He’s pretty toxic and yet I find myself drawn to his pensive philosophical musings. He’s a man with prejudices which none of us can claim to be 100 percent free of but I surely can’t relate to a lot of the ones that he has built his view of the world around. He’s a bullshitter and yet in the midst of it all Pale occasionally transcends into living room soothsayer. " - Jean-Paul D Zuhur playing Pale in BURN THIS
