Biography

Jean-Paul Demitri Zuhur is an American actor, writer, director and theatre-maker. He studied under Jack Ferver, Chiori Miyagawa, Geoff Sobelle, and others as a Theatre and Performance major at Bard College in upstate New York. Jean-Paul is currently based in San Francisco. He considers himself a global nomad, having spent a quarter of his life in the Middle East. He has participated in workshops with Anne Bogart and the Pig Iron School. On television he has appeared in The Outs series on HBO Go, and has worked commercially for Liberty First Credit Union as well as with Chamber Media.  In Lincoln he has worked with Capital City Theatre, OmniArts Nebraska, Flatwater Shakespeare Company, and is a member of Red Theatre. Jean-Paul presented at the inaugural Fringe Theater Festival in Omaha, Nebraska with his original one man performance piece: T/B/A: Tired, Barren and Alone. Jean-Paul recently debuted on the Berkeley theater scene with Actors Ensemble of Berkeley.
